Arabian Prime

It was a business trip to Dubai, I was having my meetings all day long and I had only found an opportunity to go for photography in the late evenings when the moon was on. Especially in Dubai street lights and sky scrappers, life style during night very interesting. Plenty of buildings when you head up and see there is limited view to see the sky. The moment of this photograph was also epic for me because I went to Dubai Mall for a dinner and after watching the water presentation, I was walking back to street level, on my way I stopped here and waited to combine Burj Khalifa with locals. It was so quick a group of locals passed by and thankfully I have saved it. After taking this photograph I have waited 30 mins to take some variations of the same photograph however it didn't happen. Locals wasn't there again.

Bikekesh

It was the first morning in Marrakesh. We had a nice Moroccan breakfast and went out for a coffee. The sun had risen about couple of hours ago. We were discovering the tight roads of Marrakesh with all our curiosity. There was no such incidence of an action around and all of a sudden these three motorbikes just turned the corner. Expression of my reaction was a snappy excitement. I have shoot 3 photos and this magnificient moment become a photograph.

I was tried to express the rider profile in Marrakesh which is very interesting for me. In the story of the photograph "Shade on the Wall"; I have seen many ladies riding motorbikes in Marrakesh, this was really very new to me.

Musician in Payas

He plays the Cümbüş, was performing for pocket money along around the Payas beach, I was with my friend Serkan and we saw him and walked towards him. He was so afraid, he thought we are police and hesitated to talk to. All he said was "I am not doing something wrong just trying to earn money with all my honesty". I went to him to take his photographs, he accepted and these frames came out from that day.

Hasan II Mosque

Scenic view of Minaret and walls of Hasan II Mosque. It was the first day after arriving to Casablanca, before seeing the old town me and my close friend (Mustafa Otyakmaz he is also a photographer) we decided to go Cornish of the Atlantic Ocean. Impressive huge building was clashing the waves. we bought two tickets to see whole building however it was pray time and we were very tight of time therefore we could only take photographs from the courtyard of the Mosque.

Shade on the Wall

It was the last day in Marrakesh, after seeing whole town we decided to walk into inner roads which has taken us to different parts of the city. Simultaneously I have seen many ladies riding motorbikes as it is very common transportation since first day. It was very exciting for me because back in my country this is not really very common. Seeing people on motorbikes from any gender and any age was so attractive for me.

Maiden's Moon

Maiden's Tower, I was going home from European side to Asian side and while passing on the Bosphorus bridge I saw the moon was setting suddenly I diverted my way to Salacak, Üsküdar. I called my wife and informed her that I will be a bit late :) Accordingly I set up my tripod and my zoom lens then I started to take photos and wait until Moon comes to a nice position in the frame. The interesting aspect of this photograph is; there is a silhouette face of a lady around the moon appeared from the lights of the moon reflection on clouds.

It was a sunny day outside, I went to one of the popular places of Istanbul called Fener (Phanar). During September and October Istanbul has a beautiful light for photography and I was out all day for photographing this small town. The Phanar Patriarchate is in the heart of this town and still rituals are performed faithfully traditional. I went inside and I was awaiting for priest to read the verse. He went behind the pulpit, I was curiously listening and I moved from my seat walking around him and of course I was very quite. I have switched my shutter mode to electronic shutter which is silent. This photograph has something about him.

This photograph has some good vibes, likewise at the day I have captured this photo, I was so bored and I went out walking by the coast of Fenerbahce with nonsense. At these kind of walkings I always take my camera with me. I had a look at the seagulls flying over, randomly I have seen the biker left the steering bar and at the same time seagull was targeting his move. Seagull was flying towards him but I didn't expected that it would fly just over him. I got ready and started shooting and that moment came to real. It flew over him.

I would delightedly say Paris Cafe’s are the ones to sit down and watch how life goes by. Architecture of Paris completely harmonised with wine and gastronomy and this photograph is telling me how. I, my brother and sister in law were walking towards to the Eiffel Tower. We left our hotel in St Germain and on our way, my brother Yavuz urged me that the cafe was looking really inviting. It was a cold winter day and the sun was shining on the people getting them warm. The talk was when they came to Paris last time it was snowy day last year around same dates with their friends and they couldn't even seen Eiffel because the clouds and the mist swallowed the tower.

It was a journey, full of joy. This beautiful city has full of history and being protected. There is no evidence of time while walking around. I felt like I am living in 1300's or 1400's. Stone made structures and its architecture is wordlessly beautiful. I had a very long walk about 30 km begun around 6 in the morning till the late night. I amazed for every single view of wherever I turned my head.
